A number of posts back I talked about a documentary being made by friends of our from Italy which links a beautiful but ultimately tragic Italian immigrant story that started 100 years ago in Valstagna in Veneto, Northern Italy with Vancouver's East End (Strathcona), Kamloops, the Connaught Tunnel and a cemetery in Revelstoke.

100 years later. Angelo Conte's story has caught the imagination of people on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean and they are now donating money to help fund the documentary through its IndieGogo Crowdfunding page. (See tri-coloured link immediately below).
REVELSTOKE: A KISS IN THE WIND's IndieGogo Crowdfunding Page
I truly believe that this will not only be a memorable and important documentary. I believe that it will be a truly great and ultimately a prize-winning documentary in international film festivals here in North America and in Europe. By donating to the crowdfunding programme and fueling the creator's time machine, you too can be part of the story. Please support this amazing documentary in the making by donating whatever you can, and by sharing this with others who might be interested. A year or so down the line when the film is released and viewed by people all over the world, you can and will be proud to have had a part in helping this particular yet very universal immigrant's story, which is also a trans-oceanic and trans-generational love story, come into being.
THANK YOU/GRAZIE FOR YOUR SUPPORT
